Canby Community

The Canby Community is located on the north side of Schofield Barracks.  It offers a variety of home styles and sizes to meet the needs of all military ranks.  This community has a park-like setting with mature vegetation, green open spaces and a distinctive urban plan.  Conveniently located near playgrounds and a skate park, the Canby Community is situated near the Mendonca Park.  This community, located outsite McComb gate, features modern town homes next to Lake Wilson, which provides families with a quiet, secluded neighborhood. The neighborhood is also conveniently located to playgrounds and shopping and offers tropical flora and fauna creating a warm island setting.   Schofield Barracks is situated in the town of Wahiawa, which is located in Central Oahu. The renown beaches of the island's North Shore is a scenic 15-minute drive from the base, and there is easy access to major freeways and highways. Shopping centers, strip malls, and clothing outlets are just a 15-minute drive, and Downtown Honolulu and Waikiki are just an hour away.
